Meet Dan!

Another part of #TheMachineTeam, Dan is our service manager and not only does he know how to fix any machine, he can also fix {and refurbish} anything from a jukebox to a 1963 T-Bird!

Hi, Dan! Can you tell us a little bit about your role at Machine Ethics?

I am the Service Manager here at Machine Ethics, I work directly with Customers scheduling machine repairs. Additionally, I support our great team of Field Service Technicians as needed with resources for effectively meeting the customers machine repair needs, to ensure each customer receives the best cost effective and minimal downtime options available.

What do you love most about your job?

This is a big one, I am one of the fortunate people that can honestly say I love what we do here at Machine Ethics. I really enjoy the satisfaction that comes from helping our customers. From the people I get to meet, to the challenge of making machine repairs on the vast variety of machines we get the privilege to service. I was one of the first employees Machine Ethics hired, and our company owner told me at hire in, that he would make me a better mechanic.” Not only did I become a better mechanic, but I also became a better person. I have learned so much about machine repair, and much more about Dan than I ever would have imagined possible from a job.

What are your favorite things to do outside of work?

Of course, outside of work I enjoy fixing vintage things, I always have a project (well several) in my garage and spend my free time doing what I love to do. My current projects include restoring my 1963 T-Bird, to bringing back to life my vintage jukeboxes. Additionally, I love to spend time with my grandkids and my dogo’s.

What do you this is the coolest thing we do here at Machine Ethics?

Another big one, everything we do here is super cool to me, from machinerepairs, to process installations and seeing how things are made is so veryinteresting to me. Perhaps the coolest thing is the rewarding feeling ofhelping our customers. We “serve” here at Machine Ethics and helping achieveour customers needs is very rewarding to me, our customers are why we all arehere, and I look forward to being a part of that process every day.
